So that you could have the same baseboard, same railway room, same garden, and design different track plans for it. ... But. I have had templot (2.13a) for awhile now and are getting to grips with it to create basic track plans. But one think I seemingly can't figure out is how to draw the templates with flat bottom rail instead of bullhead. When I go into real and go to rails and select "head and foot (flat-bottom rail)" the programme info box appears and there is some information about this function being a" provisional implementation". So am I right in thinking at this point in templots development this can't be done with templot at the moment. I am guessing someone has some answers. Or a way round it Thanks. I've used them with Butanone (100% MEK), Acetone, IPA and Dichloromethane (Plastic Weld) and the syringes seem unaffected. When I first started laying plastic chairs on plywood sleepers I did get a few chairs which didn't stick. I then developed my system of applying a bit of pressure and slight movement as the Butanone is applied and that seems to have given me pretty well 100% success ever since. As I said earlier, I use a set of tweezers to apply the pressure with a point on each side of the chair round about where the bolt heads are. When the glue is applied, I press down and also move the chair back and forth at the same time. This back and forth movement is very small- almost imperceptible- and I ...

For what it's worth, the computer in question is a reconditioned HP Z400 workstation running Windows 7 Pro. Templot is Version 2.19.b. The computer has access to two networked printers (one of which, a Samsung laser) is the system default printer. In addition, the usual Microsoft fax and XPS virtual printers are installed, as well as a freeware PDF virtual printer. I am confident this is a problem that has developed since I installed Templot on this particular computer because, although it hasn't been necessary for me to do much Templot printing recently, I generated a pdf document using the pdf print utility at the end of December 2017, and I am confident that it was on the machine now affected by this problem that I did so. Use GIMP to develop a plan of the tracks in the area already, onto which you could draw the turnouts required in templot with the linking track. or 2. Layout the new track on the ground to help design the turnouts required (eg crossing angle etc..) and design the two turnouts in templot. One possible problem is that I don't believe templot will go up to 7 1/4 gauge, but you may be able to get around that when you print the plan by hand drawing the 7inch rails. Regards Nigel ...
