There was one of these in 1964 right on the main Melbourne Adelaide line at Dimboola, photo of prototype is in the Train Hobby books again. Here's a pic. but of course it is larger than the normal screen size, so doesn't look as bad. Is there an issue with upload images? I followed the route and it started the upload, but nothing happened. It's a 557KB jpeg image and I waited four minutes.... I now added it as an attachment. I am not quite sure of the pricing details yet, but will let you all know as soon as I am made aware of this. I have attached a PDF file which contains an edited version of the item which will appear in the next LNWRS news letter, this being a precise of the books contents. But there is no mention of needing to use F8 to rotate the template to get an alignment- which is what leads me to conclude that I must have gone astray somewhere. What am I doing wrong, or misunderstanding here? I'm sure there must be a simple explanation, but despite no end of playing around it still eludes me. I've attached the box file with the three templates as they appear after "pegging onto notch". I shall be very grateful if someone can explain what it is that I've got wrong in this process- but I will feel very guilty if someone spends their valuable time producing a nicely finished set of templates for me- I really do need to learn how to do this correctly myself. When you come to build the formation, watch the K-crossing check rail clearance against the slip road- there isn't any on the template! I lasted posted something in 2010 in P4 while I was exploring feasibility and gaining confidence in my OS1250 map. Paul Boyd pointed out quite correctly that to get a layout of this complexity in EM would require a re-draw. So this is the EM version, work-in-progress. I shall attach the map as a bit-map after this. The copyright date was 1960, so to respect the 40-year rule I couldn't attach it last year. Now it's 2011.... The area which caused the greatest headache was/is the sort-of scissors affair in the bottom-left quarter. Particularly with regard to check-railing on one of the turnouts. This is one of those instances of a tricky layout which was probably a challenge in full-size; and where P4 is better off than EM.
