The result will be: 2_241540_400000000.png You now have the alignments for the diamond-crossing. Next you need to delete the underlying plain tracks and extend the two half-diamonds to replace them. This one turnout fits every turnout on the plan as it was originally designed for Atlas Snap Track. Now that I have this turnout designed I have saved to to my storage box. How do I now use this same template multiple times to lay out the plan? If I set the approach road to the right gauge then it'd be 8% to 10% out at the crossing. So now I use the measure tool in gimp to check the gauge is constant through ...

Humans find fractions very friendly, I wonder why the metric system doesn't make more of them? 1/32nd of a metre is about 1.1/4 ", a useful everyday unit size. We could call it a "thirtymo". 4 thirtymo is about 5 inches. 8 thirtymo is about 10 inches. Very handy. It also comes up when trying to exit Templot and the application won't quit and I have to use Task Manager to end it. It doesn't happen all the time- only on occasion. Running Win 10 64 bit with all the latest updates. It's not a major problem since I don't seem to lose anything and having to quit occasionally via Task manager is the only slight hassle.
