... topic: 3243 Mouse wheel in Windows10 posted: 18 Mar 2018 23:08 from: Martin Wynne If you are not using Windows10 you can ignore all this. If you are using Windows10 you may have noticed that in one of the recent updates Microsoft have changed the way the mouse wheel works. Generally this is a Good Thing, except when it isn't. There is a lot of discussion about this on the Windows forums, but as usual it seems to be impossible to find definitive information from Microsoft. The change applies to all software, not only Templot. I haven't made any changes in Templot itself. What now happens is that wheel events go to whichever window the mouse happens to be over, regardless of whether that window has focus or whether some other window is showing modal. Except in the case of child windows, where the wheel events now go always to the parent window, and there doesn't seem to be any way for a child window to receive wheel events. What does this mean in Templot? Generally it means that ...

I posted this question on RMWeb and Mr. Wynne suggested here might be more fertile ground for discussion. I've got a relatively simple arrangement of trackwork in my station throat, which I have divided for ease of construction into three meta arrangements of A, B and C: ATzhaRq.png I tink A and C are relatively straight forward- simple B6 crossovers though C has an extra B6 interleaved. The issue appears to be with the formation at B- as Martin has pointed, it is not possible for both turnout routes to be occupied simultaneously (in model form) without there being a conflict. Now, this isn't something that keeps me up at night: I'll be a sole operator and if not I find it hard to believe that this will be a frequent enough conflicting movement to cause problems (seeing as the bottom right road out of the junction is a carriage siding). ...

As you probably know there are now a great many picture web sites and image galleries displaying railway pictures.
