... Queen Street and Waverley, and a rural section maybe near Berwick, and either a section near Montrose or near Blair Atholl. Short sections obviously, but have two sides to each end to include all of this. Primarily 1970s/ 1980s, and some stock of current era for my daughters interest perhaps. Last time I laid any track was before 1985, so I am a novice really, though soldering the tags onto the track bus was very familiar, so I reckon I was quite proficient at soldering when I was about 10 to 15 years old. It is a works computer and backs up every time I go into the office or home. This was whilst out and about (waiting for a delayed ferry of all things). That AJC system sounds good as I am quite often away from the office for several days at a time. Given how much I dislike Windows 10 I can see this computer needing repaired (along with the plaster on the wall) before long. The drive was sent away but one of the heads had impacted the platter badly. BTW If anyone ever needs low level data recovery (ie opening the drive in a clean room Vs in a USB caddy) I can recommend East Anglia Data Recovery. No connection other than a customer. ... certainly in and around the tracks, in fact soft balsa may actually be easier and much cleaner in forming a slight unevenness. It certainly looks much better in the flesh especially without a paper skin I may in some areas outside the tracks form cobbled areas this could be formed from clay. Start by overlaying two turnouts, facing and trailing, and roam them onto the toe marks on the map. After a quick dabble the south one is looking to be about B-7 and the north one about C-10. Both look to be regular V-crossings with extended entry straights to get all the V-crossings clear of one another: 2_111814_290000000.png To create the K-crossings, peg dummy plain track templates onto the switch heel or entry straight, curve them to match the turnout roads, and then make a diamond crossing at their intersection.
