... under a more accurate heading. Progress to date- GWR 2 bolt slide rail chairs, whilst the slide-rail part is coming out OK, achieving a full filling of the mold for the chair part is proving difficult and I shall have to accept that this is going to have to wait until I can try it with my centrifugal machinery (which is currently in limbo), probably sometime in September and even that might not work, so I have to consider going to proper pressure casting- I'll have to save a few pennies up first. The 7mm scale items are coming out somewhat better so the platform support walls will be available soon, as will the resin (non-functional) crossing nose castings and non-functional heyback type chairs for Flatbottom Rail. I also notice that if I run out of paper after putting say 10 pages into the queue, the print queue includes pages already printed and after loading more paper and pressing the start button, the printer prints all the pages again! It seems to build up a huge print queue and when I printed off about 20 pages in a run a few weeks back, the print queue was several Gbytes in size. That's another reason why I've gone over to printing page by page. I also experience the BSOD when printing a large print run and more often than not a complete crash. Everything depends on the individual site conditions and traffic. Here's some text that I have posted a few times. Timbering style is a frequently asked question, because there is no clear answer. Generally speaking, equalized timbering was the norm in the pre-grouping period (before the 1920s), and square-on timbering is the standard now. Between then and now you get both. The change was gradual and varied in pace according to local practice. For much of the post-grouping steam era it would be common to see square-on used for main running lines, with older equalized timbered turnouts predominating in ...

You can fit a 1:7 regular half-diamond in 00-SF over Roy's scan quite well if you curve it to 4300mm radius.
