... topic: 3487 Timber shoving on crossovers posted: 18 Aug 2019 10:04 from: Hull Paragon I have read many pages of information on timber shoving but I cannot find a answer to this particular problem. (Apologies if I have missed it somewhere). I have set out a crossover and have attempted to shove timbers to places which I think look reasonably right! The problem is that on some timbers, after moving them, the image of the original timber/sleeper remains. This 'double' image is printed out on the template. The screenshot below should illustrate this. 3501_180459_360000000.png In my ignorance, I have tried a number of tweaks to get rid of the residual image but the problem persists. Could anyone help me with this please? Thanks Ray posted: 18 Aug 2019 11:05 from: Martin Wynne Hi Ray, Welcome to Templot Club. You have created duplicate copies of your templates. Change to the normal zoom locked setting: 2_241048_570000000.png With the zoom locked, it will change only if you change it yourself. Some of the make tools do scroll the trackpad view, to ensure that the newly created control template is visible. I have not noticed that being annoying, or had any other reports to that effect. Regards Mick posted: 19 Dec 2019 02:33 from: Martin Wynne Hi Mick, Welcome to Templot Club. Yes, there are several ways to create baseboard outlines on the trackpad. If the baseboard is rectangular, the easiest way is to use the quick baseboard function like this: 2_182126_430000000.png That creates a rectangle in the background shapes functions.
