... topic: 2446 Flatbottom track cameo posted: 23 Apr 2014 08:30 from: Hayfield undefined Recently I bought some Peco sleepers and chairs quite cheaply (very against the MRRP) and my thoughts moved to building a small cameo. I have wanted to build some flatbottom track for a while and this has given me the opportunity to do so, all I need is some rail and a few good ideas As can be seen from the attached plan a simple turnout and single slip approach into a station, I could then build something in the region of 18" x 48" with both the between the track and lineside accessories from the likes of Peco, Wills and Ratio, just to create a small cameo Thoughts and ideas would be welcome Attachment: attach_1830_2446_Flatbottom_demo_p iece.box 245 Last edited on 23 Apr 2014 08:58 by Hayfield posted: 23 Apr 2014 08:39 from: Hayfield undefined undefined undefined Cannot send photos from phone via edit and cannot upload from computer as Windows 7 is playing up I give up with photos, can't seem to get ...

Not all devices support Flash, and those that do require a separate plug-in for the browser. It seems that with the expansion of HTML5 web sites, geared for mobile devices, the writing is on the wall for Flash. I don't want to spend time creating SWF Flash videos and then find a few years down the line that not all Templot users can access them. So for the present I'm going for the first option, which is what we have been testing here. It's similar to the existing Templot executable videos from Camtasia, but with the big advantage that .fbr files don't trigger the security restriction on downloading which often happens with .exe files. I'm hoping to write a function similar to the .box file viewer for selecting .fbr tutorial videos to watch. In an ideal world I would like to integrate the FlashBack player into ...

This is due to server congestion -- we are still on the original server from 2007. Jim will be moving us to a bigger and better new server in the next few days, which should improve matters a lot. It may mean that we will be off-line for a while. While offline I will post updates on this link: http://templot-users.co.uk Make a note of it now in case you can't see it when you need it. Just regarding the "arrival/ departure platform" stuff, I grew up not far from Middleton (ex L&Y). When I knew it, the station was literally falling down, but nonethless, right up until the day it closed, the 2 car DMU would dutifully arrive at one platform, disgorge its one or two passengers then reverse out to cross to the other platform to await the few hardy souls going to Manchester. I have found yours to be a case in point. When you try to fit the missing diamond in that Martin refers to, you find the placing of the crossing makes the timbering impossible.
