Some relief may be possible in the short term by more closely monitoring exactly how much bandwidth each customer is using, but to keep everything in-house and expand his business further it will be necessary for Jim to install a much higher capacity internet link. The snag is that this is a significant additional investment, so not something to rush into at short notice. A box file is attached and I am hoping for comments. You can see it is not complete; at this GW station few trains stopped on the main line tracks, but the relief was fairly busy with trains to and from Paddington, (24 miles) and Reading (~ 12 miles), both passenger and goods, many of which stopped. The goods yard had its own shunting loco stabled at Reading, which was kept busy and will hopefully provide some challenges in operation. I have not paid any attention to sleepering yet. A muscular youth came puffing through the crowd carrying a rather smoky torch. He handed this to the Premier who took it in his left hand and commenced his prepared speech. A few moments later the correct torch appeared. The Premier was holding a jam tin, nailrd to a piece dowel that still had wet paint on it. The flame was a smouldering, kerosene soaked rag.
