Unfortunately your outside single slip is not buildable as it stands -- the slip switches are too close to the V-crossings. There isn't really room for an outside slip at that location. As the crossing angle is 1:7 you should be able to fit an ordinary inside slip there, without the radius being too sharp. Adjacent to that you have curved and straight tracks crossing. If you try using the TDV program, you will be able to convert those tracks to a proper irregular diamond-crossing. More about that ...

Good idea. I mainly use something similar. In my case I have a bit of hardwood inside the crossing V shaped to the right angle, and two more bits outside the V to hold the rails in place. The main difference is that the actual bit of the V where the rails join lies off the base itself in thin air. This may help the solder flow between the two bits of rail (the base and bits of wood no longer act as a heat sink), and it means you're not burning up the bits of wood. My method of holding everything down is relatively crude; double sided tape under the bits of wood, and another bit of wood held across ...

I was doing some work on Yeovil plan redoing the track centre spacing having discovered that 70' coaches would foul each other on certain curves. So I found myself generally moving round the non station parts of layout increasing the adjacent spacing to 50.67mm. I chose to delete the outside curves and use -Tools\Make double track- to restore the outside curves a little further away. This worked fine. But as I progressed towards the fiddle yard (staging yard?) I noticed that a curved turnout had disappeared and that no amount of 'undo changes/ back button' would restore it. This used to happen to me a lot in the early days of using Templot but I found that by hitting the button with two orange down arrows on it (save to control) that that overcame that problem but at the same time very often seems to duplicate the template, which is a bit tedious (probably necessary ...

If the list is empty, the current list Count value is 0, but the current index returns the value -1 because there is no current data for index [0].
