All that would then be needed is to host the Templot2 code on SourceForge, GitHub, etc. and use commits and pulls to get/submit changes, with branches for new features such as the import/export facilities. This will niggle me until I find it, but for now I'm going to leave it at this cop-out. Hopefully no-one will ever see it. Re the sleepering centreing etc., when I was planning the track for the Alkham Valley layout for the Folkestone MRC the chap in charge said he wanted all the pointwork sleepers the same distance apart. I told him that would be unprototypical and showed him some pics to prove my point (no pun intended). I think ply is more stable than plastic sleepers- with the thin plastic sleepers you have to make sure they are well glued down or the solvent used to attach the chairs can cause the sleepers to warp. The cheapish wood moisture meters are useful for checking on timber moisture content generally, not that I am suggesting you use one on the sleepers. ... Dave, I think you can safely assume that there would be a facing points lock there. It would be shown on the diagram on the ground frame which is released by the key. This is the diagram for the signal box at the station only. The usual reason for providing a separate ground frame is that it is more than the 350 yards length limit for the rodding run from a signal box.
