It occurs before the actual save (when Templot is generating the .pdf file??), ie when Templot prompts the user whether they wish to export each individual sheet, eg export a/1, export a/2, etc. If its relevant, the error(s) occurred when I exported with a non standard scaling factor of 8%, chosen purely to fit the plan on a single sheet of A4 whilst showing the maximum amount of detail. On reading Kaspersky's 'more details' section there is a suggestion that Templot may be trying to access a problematic area of memory. This may explain why Kaspersky is happy with Templot 99.9% of the time and only objects when I try to execute one specific command. When I got into template quickset and select a piece of plain track, my scanned plan goes out of focus and a piece of track appears in the centre of the screen much larger than the background image. ... topic: 3205 Evercreech Junction posted: 4 Feb 2018 01:12 from: John Palmer Following on from my Radstock effort, here's Evercreech Junction, focus of so much action on the S&D, and a station that has held me fascinated from childhood. I'm afraid this attempt is, in places, a bit rough and ready, but I've resolved most of the timbering conflicts and made it a reasonable fit on the 25" Ordnance plan. I have not uploaded a copy of that plan because (a) it's a bit rough and ready on the NLS site, with a bit of misalignment between the map tiles at the south end, and (b) the plan dates from about 1903, at which time neither the down yard nor the turntable and locomotive servicing facilities in the fork of the junction had yet been fully developed. Consequently I have had to do a fair amount of plotting that involves assumptions about the exact positions of these facilities as finally developed. Broadly the upload represents the layout as it existed in BR days, ...

These are all fiddle yard boards. The scenic ones will be done differently. To generate a cutting list for each curved board, I print out each board scaled to fit one sheet of A4 paper as centre lines only. The lengths of the various members are worked out from the template lengths displayed in the information panel (when selected as control) or press the F4 key to display it. One just has to remember to allow for the thickness of the material in the right places. I write the full length outside the line and the required length inside whether different or not. If you decide to change, do not use this template, ask me to create one for 0-MF. The PDF file attached below is for home printing on 5 sheets of A4 paper. Make sure you change to "no scaling, 100%" in your PDF reader program. You can check the accuracy by measuring the 150mm grid squares. Trim the pages to the red lines to fit them together. Alternatively you can lay 16.5mm flexi-track to the same centre-lines, regarding it as pre-gauge-widened if you wish. If you want some of the templates to be exactly 16.5mm, it's easy. Design the layout in 00-SF first. Then select the relevant templates as a group, and click the gauge> other gauges... menu item. On the list dialog select 00-BF and then click the convert group button at the top. But I don't think this will really make much practical difference for tracklaying, as Robert mentioned. If you have purchased a C&L turnout kit, bear in mind that the track gauge tools supplied with it are for the DOGA-Fine standard, they are not suitable for 00-SF. To build 00-SF pointwork you should discard those gauge tools and obtain the 00-SF gauge tools from Brian Tulley. regards, Martin. posted: 1 ...

I replaced it with a 1520 and found that that used cartridges which were no bigger than those used on their small A4 deskjets and you had to have both black and colour cartridges with ink in them to get the printer to work. If you don't use it regularly, when you switch it on it goes through the automatic head cleaning routine which probably uses more ink than your intended printing is going to use. The track centre-line prints in the same colour as the rail edges, so you can change that to whatever you want.
