I have been having mixed results when adding these files as picture shapes and then trying to print them. The first one I tried just printed the picture shape as a filled black rectangle ... image down resulted in a proper print being produced. Is this all down to printer memory or associated issues? The PC has 32GB of memory of which about 26GB is available. Please let me know if I am missing something. I am saving the files as JPG from the scanner. ... to post this query. Does anyone know the dimensions of the sleepers used by BR LMR in the 1950s/1060s for the Merseyside area third rail electric stock? Contemporary (1950s/1060s) photos (a poor quality scan of one taken from a book is attached) confirm that asymmetric sleepers were in use in the period I am interested in but it appears that the dimensions were almost certainly different from the sleepers used by Southern Railway and presumably by BR Southern Region and currently (no pun intended!) .Any help ... I first when I opened this topic sent but with measurements added to show the 8ft 6ins sleeper. I guess I'll have to send the photos of the show in place on the extant Class 502 one at a time. ... and remember about the png files. One thing I don't seem to be able to get to grips with is modifying a curve after another template (say a straight section) has been snapped(F7) to it. If I change the radius for instance the attached template (straight) gets left behind. Must be missing something as I've seen attached templates move in unison in some of the tutorial videos.
