... left the double junction has a switch-diamond because of the severity of the curve, even though the angle is probably shorter than 1:8 and would have been OK for a fixed diamond in straight track. On the right the turnout in the yard has a couple of single-blade catch points within it acting as traps, and the curve is continuously check-railed. ... Eldon, Welcome to Templot Club. 1. When you use any of the tools> menu functions with the word "make" in their name, Templot stores a copy of the existing control/current template on the background for you, before creating the new template. If you also store it yourself, you will get two copies on the background. 2. When you want to modify a background template, select "wipe to the control/current" or "delete to the control/current". (The former retains an unused copy of the original in the storage box and file.) If you select "copy to the control/current", the existing background template will remain behind the modified one. This option is intended for when you want to use a copy of the template elsewhere. regards, Martin. posted: 6 Sep 2010 15:56 from: Eldon Thiesen Thank you for your quick response. I grew up in Paisley just beside the Canal Line and I remember the four terminus stations in Glasgow quite well although my recollections are probably slightly suspect now Cheers! Andy posted: 5 Nov 2020 07:59 from: Phil O Hi Ian, Welcome to Templot Club. It looks as if you have an interesting project ahead of you.
