Areas of concern: Nothing to do with Templot but I think you may have to be very careful when you come to ballasting. Any water based adhesive (i.e. PVA or Copydex) could cause you great problems as they are likely to affect the wallpaper, which could well shrink on drying resulting in distortion and possibly worse (same goes for any templates left in situ). as to the 1mm flangeway, I'm sure others will point out that the critical measurement ...

... plain track templates across the area of your tandem. Keep them as unused templates in the storage box, and copy them to the background while making the diagram-mode output. Hence the need to click the reset function afterwards (not before). It's a good idea to do that as soon as possible. Recently I've used cyano which comes with a little applicator brush, that seems to last much longer. My main issue has been the Rocket brand of cyano, where the cap gets glued to the nozzle and I can't get at the perfectly good glue inside without cutting up the bottle! ... up for you. An outside slip was never going to work in that tight space, so I took the liberty of replacing it with a single turnout and a double switched diamond slip. I also eased the curve to make it less like it hand been built using Peco Setrack. The start and end points are, however, the same except for the siding that comes off the slip.
