I noticed there are several places where you have used a regular type of V-crossing: 2_240523_120000000.png where it would achieve a better "flow" to use curviform V-crossings instead. Where you have contraflexure with a regular V-crossing, the vee splice rail also has contraflexure. Sometimes this is what you want (in a curved crossover for example). But in many cases where the intention is for the tracks to diverge, it is better to change to a curviform V-crossing. Otherwise you will have a short section of reverse curve in the diverging road. Often this doesn't show very obviously on the screen, but it will do when looking along the finished tracks. To see ...

The electronic filled two euro cards with components. I think for these 102 routes it will fill several cake tins with components and it will be daunting complex. I have the idea that this could be made simpler with the usage of microprocessors. Has anyone realized something like that, or is there a source for a solution? Clearly it's not this one, as there is no track there. But if you were to zoom out and extend the length of your two templates, you would see that they would in fact intersect at this point. When you get a screen such as above, you can tell Templot that it's the wrong intersection, by clicking the no- try other intersection instead bar. The workpad is blank showing no grid lines because this intersection turns out to be in the negative quadrant. The "white square" is in fact the pegging notch. Templot is using it to mark the intersection location. The yellow circle is just a temporary screen-centre target ring. For myself I much prefer all-soldered construction. Partly for the instant set and ease of adjustment, but also because I can't stand the pong of butanone. I think Joe Brook-Smith's original riveted ply system still has a lot to be said for it. The Scalefour Society have just upgraded their supplies to precision laser-cut plywood instead of sheared strip. The great advantage of riveted ply is that you can get the track built, laid, tested, wired up and running, and only later add the cosmetic half-chairs at your leisure. If the rivet positioning is done carefully, the end result looks just the same as using glued chairs on plywood. Beginners can deal with any misplaced rivets by fettling them with the edge of a Dremel abrasive disc. Fitting the rivets to the timbers can be time consuming, but strangely satisfying. So instead I moved your turnout to the left and increased it to a D-12. It is then possible to create a more likely-looking crossover, with the curved turnout at D-12.43 You could change that to a standard D-12 and tidy up the alignments if you wished. I used method 2. in my previous post, inserting the turnout at the intersection. It needed a 180-degree rotation after creation (SHIFT+ F8), because Templot isn't as clever as you might think.
