... topic: 3399 Radio Paradise photo uploads posted: 22 Mar 2019 21:45 from: Martin Wynne It's been a while since I last submitted any images to Radio Paradise, so I thought I would find a few from recent outings, and create a topic for them here. Chocolate-boxy won't do, strong visual content is wanted. They must also be 16:9 landscape aspect ratio, which sometimes rules out images I might otherwise consider sending. Mike usually accepts about 40% of the ones I submit, but I never manage to predict which ones they will be. So over to you -- 8 images below just submitted. I will post the results when I get the email back. He has over 63,000 images in his database, of which only a couple of hundred are mine. So I'm quite chuffed when I see one of mine being used -- on one day recently I noticed 3 of mine in the space of a couple of hours. Here's the link for the Radio Paradise slide show (no ...

... to be new, it hasn't got all it's hardware in place yet. It's been there for a few years now Rob, along with several others on the site. The gate latch has gone missing -- either needed elsewhere, or maybe stolen. The gate was swinging open when I arrived. Judging by the long grass around it, it hasn't been used recently. Mike (the RP picture editor) now has over 50,000 pictures in his database including about 200 of mine. He accepts about 50% of the ones I submit. Some of mine do come up quite often on the slide show -- I noticed this one was on tonight: knighton_1280_rp.jpg It's pleasing to see your pictures being shown to the world. ... Jim. [Edit] to show that Balquhidder was rebuilt, and not a new construction- in case some people wondered when the Oban line was built. Depends what you mean by scenery, Wolverhampton had a factory and a large engine shed, all full of green engines. Paradise! I've read that Pway practices in Scotland carried on well after the Grouping (out of sight, out of mind?) ...

... . menu item. They have been there in 091c and earlier -- where they are used only in creating 3D effects in the DXF export. They can be set individually for each template. Yes, I had used it to make baulk templates in 0.91c, but it was tedious to overlay separate template with real sized rail. The combination will help a good deal, so glad to see head and foot both fully user-defined. TDV unlocked OK, now off to play with backgrounds, sketchpad etc. Armchair modellers paradise!! Will I ever have time to build the track? posted: 9 Nov 2011 10:44 from: Martin Wynne Improvised FB rail-foot edges are now available in the latest TDV update (build# 4435): topic 1500 To change the control template to FB, click the real> rails> head and foot (flat-bottom rails) menu option (A below). Judging by the seagulls on the roof and rust-stained panels on the footbridge, it is near the coast. Most of Eugene Birchall's pictures are in the south west of England (Wessex): http://www.eugenebirchall.co.uk Martin. posted: 11 Sep 2020 22:37 from: Tony W It is reminiscent of Dawlish, but I could be wrong.
