... wiring and point controls on the surface rather then underneath. So there's a servo stuck to a piece of plasticard( to act as the base that I can screw to the baseboard) which I'm hoping to hide under the platforms and I've cut trenches through the cork for both the wire in a tube control from servo to turnout, and trenches for the wiring runs to the various sections/ districts. When I've installed the wiring and turnout controls and "made good" then I'll make a start on laying sleepers as I have previously. But this time I must remember to give the plan a wash of brown paint to kill the white. Without that any defect in the ballast shows up white like a sore thumb. At this stage I'm still thinking I'll keep the servo wiring subterranean and again as far away from the traction power as possible. Not that I've experienced any problems( so far) with board no5 when testing it out, but that was only one loco trundling up and down. 2787_241736_380000000.jpg Time will tell on that one. ... few strokes with a fine file and a final polish with abrasive paper will do that. It's also a good idea to take a few thou off the top of the vee nose so that it dips down slightly below the wing rails. This allows for the coning angle on the wheels as they run off the wing rail onto the nose, producing smoother running. Here are some further diagrams, showing how most of the work can be done after assembly of the vee. This requires only 3 cuts instead of 4 in total previously, and cleans up any slight mismatch at the tip and any stray solder. It's difficult to hold an assembled vee this way for filing, but fairly easily arranged on a disc sander. Currently known ISPs doing this are: AOL Supanet (Previously there was a similar problem with Comcast, but that seems to have resolved.) If my ISP was doing that, I would be extremely annoyed that my legitimate emails were being blocked in this way, and I should be looking for a different ISP. If either your broadband or the ISP goes down, you just switch to dial-up from another ISP and use their servers instead, which Thunderbird handles much better than OE (the easiest way is to just temporarily change the default SMTP server from the previously set up list). Or have I misunderstood something? Sending email from different accounts in Thunderbird is very easy- you just pull down the appropriate account in the 'From' box in the Compose window. I think I have got somewhere near without getting too involved in 3D blends which would require dozens of additional facets. An important consideration for models is to keep it below the wheel flanges. I'm still undecided about how to blend the side of the jaw into the chair base and rail seat. I have removed the silly angled socket in the rail seat which I had previously. On the prototype it is a spherical fillet radius, but that would involve a silly amount of code. On the two worst curved points (inner radius less than 5ft) I traced out "natural curves" rather than the previously existing "forced curves", just to see how nicely a curve could go without having to do a complete messy rebuild. I then removed all of the inside chairs between the start of the check rails to halfway down the slide chairs, (fiddly doing this in situ), and also some of the chairs on the frogs and those holding the moving blades that corresponded to the curved inner rails.
