Had to go out all day yesterday (Saturday), however, on the bright side, went to a market and found a stall full of model railway stuff, couldn't resist, bent the wallet a bit and bought a few things. I have attached a sample GIF file of the signal box scaled at 4mm to 1 foot. I will also post a sample of the same signal box but in BMP format. The image is of the signal box that was at Eastbourne, the box was built by Saxby& Farmer around the1880s or 1890s, for the LBSCR The proto signal box was a very large long building and was also mounted very high up (unusually so). The steps had, some 24 treads, from the ground level to reach the cabin platform, quite a climb for the signalman. I will post a sample sketch I used to scale and draw the box.
