... The few pictures I have seen appear to show that standard 9 footers are used throughout. That said, the options for timbering a tandem in such a fashion are quite limited. My suggested solution is attached. I do not claim this is the only solution and if someone knows better then I hope they will let you know. My model image has a variety of track formations including slips and a tandem; I see it as a useful training ground in preparation for the task of designing the main layout. The only sensible way to use Marcway with Templot would be to use their kits as a source of components for building Templot turnout designs. Before you start do save group to a file. You could call it temp_group.box and re-use it each time.
