Or if the turnout position came first, you can change it to a transition curve template, extend the length of it, and then adjust the position of the transition zone markers beyond the turnout or change radii as required. It's all much easier than what you seem to be doing. When modelling using 00 gauge track, I set my third rail with the insulated rail supports at 14.2mm from the track centre line. 00 gauge sleepers are generally 32mm long instead of the scale 34mm, which could leave the third rail appearing too close to the end of the sleeeprs.
