I recommend that you watch the above video and then practise doing the same and more on a blank pad to become familiar with Templot's methods. Support from Martin is first class and I would hate to see that suffer preparing a manual that will will be of little use to many. Getting into the programme quickly is the key and that probably is the element that is missing for me. But suddendly, when exporting to a scaled pdf plan, my Kaspersky Internet Security came up with the following message: PDM.Trojun.Win32.Generic Location: c:\templot_dev/templot2.exe When I disinfected, Kaspersky had removed templot2.exe I downloaded the templot files again from your website, rescanned for viruses. All clear. Reinstalled. Ran Malware Bytes before running Templot. All clear. I ran Templot. As before, ok with standard work on templates, background shapes etc. Again, there was no problem initially with exporting to scaled pdfs, but again an error occurred. ... right now, the difference between A3 and A3+ is the difference between getting one board edge on a sheet of paper or two- the templates can also be used as baseboard build templates with joins in only one direction, as well as planning full size wiring runs, scenery, point motor positioning etc. Admittedly that only works for quite a narrow range of baseboard widths, but I'm in that range! My question after many false starts and mistakes is really in regard to where one should start to plan from. In relation to the photograph attached- I started from the tunnel mouths and basically worked back towards where the camera was. I ended up with lots of templates that needed "joining" and as a result had to jigger about a lot with make transitions etc. some of which could not be calculated. wolves_low_tracks_to_tunnel.jpg I was wondering do others have a strategy on where to start, from the middle and work outwards, end to end etc.?
