However, using the switch settings from the drawing and trying to change the v crossing entry straight to get the proper lead lenght fails. 131,23mm is as far as it will go. Thats off a bit, could it be my heel spread thats to large? Seing as thats the only figure I didnt take from the drawing? ... it. I suspect that you might be able to lay the approach throat round a curve a bit easier than with the later plan with the slips. I've also dug through all my Modellers up to 1977, but haven't found mention of the later version so maybe CJF modified it solely for use in the 1989 plan book mentioned. CJF left the Modeller early in 1978 (a cataclysmic event, IIRC), so I doubt there is much point searching for more plans in later editions. ... upgrade to Crossover v20, I have ditched Crossover completely, and installed Templot on my wife's PC which she rarely uses. I no longer travel for work so the ability to run Templot on my Mac is no longer relevant. If you have to use a Mac then you'll probably need to shell out for the Crossover uprade but it is probably a cheaper long-term option to get hold of a s/h PC with a decent size of screen and install Templot on that.
