... stage of the Tutorial, i now find that I need to lock the F Lock in place, pretty dim but still learning how the keyboard works. I have downloaded you attachment (I think) how do I get to save it and where. Kind regards Chris posted: 7 Feb 2011 15:58 from: JFS Hi Chris, It sounds like you have one of those awful multimedia keyboards where you have to press F Lock before the F keys do anything- one of my machines has one and it drives me crackers! One thing is for sure, you need the F keys for Templot- everything can be accessed via the menus, but the F keys save a lot of time. It also sounds like you are getting to grips with using a computer for the first time??? You can save the .box file anywhere on your machine- say on the desktop (you are probably going to delete it anyway after you have played with it) if you then double click on it, Templot will automatically open and ask you ...

I'm using the TDV, maily for the ease at which one can form the Irregular Diamond Crossing templates. This group has been driving me crackers trying to get the timbers right. But must persevere !! ... topic: 2002 "No Data" Templates posted: 4 Jul 2012 22:25 from: JFS Maybe not a flaw, but something which drives me absolutely crackers! I like to draw the edges of baseboards as templates displayed as centre lines only. This means they can be manipulated within groups of other templates which I find useful. The problem is, as I skip through the Storage Box, a dialogue box keeps appearing telling me that "There is no data for this template...." I can't see how this can be true since there is both a peg and a length though of course there are no rails.Worse, this particular nag does not have a please leave me alone tick box and can find no way of turning it off. I can understand that this information might be useful if the template does have a zero length, but these clearly do not! I am hoping (nay expecting!) that I am about to be told a really easy workaround!!! Best Wishes, Howard. posted: 4 ...
