The DXF import was originally written primarily for vectorized bitmaps, and for re-importing Templot's own DXF exports into the background shapes. ... to Templot? Hi Ewerthon, Sorry, there is no way to import files from any other software and have them converted to native track templates in Templot. The most you can do is to import files which can be displayed on the workpad as a background guide, over which you then create Templot templates in the usual way. There are 3 options for this: 1. DXF files from a CAD program can be imported into the background shapes function. If TrainPlayer can export DXF files this may be your best option: dxf_import1.png There is a page showing Templot tracks designed over a DXF import from XTrackCad at: rene_tandem Like this: rene_tandem4.gif Note that the tracks shown in grey are background shapes imported as DXF from XtrackCad, they are not Templot templates and cannot be adjusted using the usual Templot controls. 2.
