... Because of licensing issues that will have to be in a separate helper exe anyway, at least for the present. It might even become a separate program in its own right TemplotSketch (closed-source). Likewise TemplotPDF perhaps, for the PDF export, which also relies on metafiles. cheers, Martin. posted: 10 Nov 2019 02:11 from: Martin Wynne The metafile export is now working in T3 quite well. Metafiles are vector files. That's great because instead of containing an actual image, they contain the instructions for drawing the image. Which means they don't have a fixed size and can be drawn crisply into a specified rectangle of any size. What has surprised me is how few graphics programs are able to handle metafiles properly. In fact I haven't found any. Gimp and Inkscape won't load them at all. Irfanview and Microsoft Paint convert them to bitmaps on loading, which means loading is very slow, and likewise panning and scrolling. An old version of PaintShopPro which I use a lot has the wit to ask you what ...

There are slightly easier ways to create the extra common crossing, but I never worry about it when I need to create a tandem turnout. No doubt Martin will be a long shortly to sort out my short comings. Phil. Hi Phil, I've had a look around for the video but cannot find it. I have found some instructions from Martin over tandem turnouts, but struggled to follow those. I've realigned the three-way a bit which I think works better and is buildable. You need to tell it that it is not a virus. Refer to the anti-virus instructions. Alternatively, simply renaming it as .exe might work, if it has made no other changes to it. Or you could turn off your anti-virus program while you install Templot again. Since there is no actual virus in templot_video_loader.exe, clearly your anti-virus program has not scanned it, and has decided that it doesn't like it simply because it has not seen it before. regards, Martin. posted: 27 Nov 2017 13:49 from: madscientist sorry martin, only back in front of the mac ...
