... Richard, Is Perranwell what you're looking for, I've just discovered this http://www.cornwallrailwaysociety.org.uk/cornwall-railway-gallery-branches-west.html and scroll through. There are loads of Cornish pics I've never seen before and I'm going to spend some time rooting through them. Ken posted: 28 May 2012 17:49 from: Stephen Freeman Hi, That's interesting- I started a P4 layout based on Perranwell some years ago, but it's never got beyond the track and ballast stage- perhaps one day- in the meantime I'll look out the book with the photos and track plan if anyone is interested. posted: 28 May 2012 19:15 from: JFS Richard, I think such things were exceedingly rare and Perranwell has been modelled to death- especially on 7mm scale layouts which are smaller than they should be! Good Luck, Howard. posted: 29 May 2012 08:14 from: Stephen Freeman Hi, British Railways Past and Present No 17 Cornwall has a photo. BRJ 27 on Falmouth Branch says its unique. Definitely not ...

... only 2 pages totalling 128KB of data. I tried setting the printer to almost the lowest resolution (text) and got the same result: the printer prints almost to the end of the first page then hangs up. The printer works fine in every other app, so I saved the same default A6 turnout to a pdf file (98KB): this prints with no problems, therefore this confirms my suspicion that there is some kind of problem with this release. I can use this as a work-around in the meantime but I would obviously rather it worked as intended. Regards, Brian posted: 22 May 2012 20:48 from: Martin Wynne Hi Brian, I'm not convinced there is a problem in Templot, as the printing code has not changed in Templot2. ... sheet 1000 mm x 9000 mm pdf. (Using a firm that prints architectural plans). Templot says it has saved correctly, and the Templot preview looks good but when opened in Adobe all I get is a blank page. Have transferred the pdf file to the Apple OS side of the computer and it is the same, though Apple's "Preview" showed the templates perfectly so the information is there, but I will throw it through the printer tomorrow Australian time and see what happens and post the result, in the meantime maybe someone can shed some light? Regards, Matt M. posted: 26 Jan 2012 08:37 from: Martin Wynne Matt M. wrote: It was saved as a one sheet 1000 mm x 9000 mm pdf. Hi Matt, Adobe Reader won't accept pages greater than about 200" or 5000mm long. The actual limit seems to vary with different versions. Instead, use Foxit Reader or Nitro Reader, both free downloads, to see larger pages. I tend to prefer the Nitro reader for viewing PDFs. ...

Hi Bob, The paid-for versions of Templot were withdrawn in November. In future Templot will be available for use free of charge and supported by voluntary donations. I'm not issuing any more lock-release codes because very soon the new free version of Templot2 will be available. In the meantime you are welcome to download and use the Templot Development Version (TDV), see: topic 1731 Please read the relevant topic notes. ... upper template back to the control template 3. click the tools> make ladder crossover> make regular ladder menu item, to create the diamond-crossing instead of the turnout. That works fine in version 091c even if the turnout is in a transition zone, as yours is. Unfortunately because of a bug it doesn't work in TDV in the case of a transition. I will get it fixed. (The diamond-crossings were completely re-written for TDV to introduce irregular diamonds). As a workaround in the meantime do this: 1. make a simple crossover again as you did previously. 2. geometry> notch> put notch under peg menu item. 3. template> convert turnout to half-diamond menu item. 4. geometry> peg positions> peg on TXP menu item (CTRL-5). 5. geometry> notch> shift onto notch menu item. 6. tools> make diamond-crossing menu item. Sorry about that, I will get it fixed for the next TDV update. regards, ...

Take say 1" off for a half buffer stop and I easily have room to fit the largest "home" loco into the release (a 57xx tank) If I make the scenery etc expandable I have the option to add another 12" of baseboard on later if I see the need for a longer release. In the meantime I will have to use a station pilot to release longer locos by shunting the stock into the run round- will make for interesting shunting at a show if nothing else Think my mind's almost made up, looks like I have to reprint some plans! Edit: Thanks for your input Martin, we must have been posting at the same time! is that outside slip a #4 or #6? as I really don't want to disturb the existing track on the section from 3 foot to 7 foot on the plan ...

If this still works for you, you will at least have a working copy of TDV. Note that this version requires a TDV lock-release code. Let me know if you need your code again. However, I suspect that it won't work. The code is identical in #4703 so I can only assume that something has changed at O2 in the meantime. regards, Martin.
