... and Dave. I've been having a play, and I *think* I've managed to produce and scale a suitable plan from screen caps of planning portal which is now in Templot. I suspect it will be a scale meter or two off, but it's certainly a start. I'm just attempting to overlay the track work which of course is slow going being new to the software. Thanks for the help, it's greatly appreciated. Regards Matt posted: 18 Oct 2009 19:01 from: davelong Matt If you use an onscreen ruler such as Jruler (see google) then you can get as close to scale as you'll ever likely get using planning portal images. note to Martin I can't seem to find my notes on the scale drawings maths to get the scales to match. ... least it gives you a chance of correcting the problem in due course. I have now taken on board about uploading to the Gallery for posting multiple images, thanks for that. All the best, Brian Nicholls. posted: 30 Apr 2011 00:03 from: Brian Nicholls Hi Martin, Just had an idea about the 'joggled' vee wing rails, which I hope may help you to discover what is going wrong in the program. Let me try to explain, it occurred to me that for some reason, the onscreen rail display has made a wrong decision between the correct wing rail to be displayed and the hidden half of the of the same quarter diamond that has been cropped using F4 to do this. Below, is a much more detailed explanation: You see, each of the quarter diamonds is made up of a rear half (the vee and wing rail end), which has been cropped by using CNTRL+ F3 blanking length, and a front half (the K crossing end), which has been cropped by using F4 ...

Fewer and fewer android tablets are using Intel chips however as Intel has canned most of its low power Atom chips and similar as it has struggled to compete with the sheer popularity of ARM based chips. Perhaps a Templot Viewer application would be more useful for use on a tablet though? I'm not sure how well editing track plans would work using the touch interface without changes to make that work properly as onscreen keyboards tend to be clunky. posted: 20 Jul 2017 18:46 from: davelong Intel are working Apollo lake processors aimed at mid range tablets. They'll probably move away from the android market and into their own market of windows tablets. They may end up in mid to high end android tablets such as Samsung's but the budget end will suffer. posted: 20 Jul 2017 20:19 from: Martin Wynne davelong wrote: Dragging a box for screen zoom or to group several templates etc isn't possible with the touch ...

... be able to turn them on/off based on colour/grade. And allow me to include them in print outs (again by colour/grade) (Basically life is a bit busy at the moment, and I only get 10 or 20 minutes Temploting time every-so-often. My last go was with the new clearance envelope changes, which was great. I already knew I had a issue, shown in the screenshot, but I don't have time straight away to solve it. So I thought an onscreen "nag", might help me remember when I have a bit more time to look at it, rather than just forget, and do something else.) It is going to need quite a bit of thought. In the meantime there is quite a lot you can do already. If you ...
