... -day today, with just the usual handful of reported problems caused by false negatives in anti-virus software. I don't really know what to do about that because it never happens here, and I don't have copies of the relevant software to provide instructions for changing the settings. For Windows 10 it is all totally unnecessary anyway, because that comes with a free fully-integrated copy of Windows Defender. No doubt a digital certificate would help, but that can cost into 3-figures per year, which is not tenable for free software bearing in mind that it makes not a shred of difference to the actual program functionality. In fact I have already paid that much for the NLS API subscriptions for the tiled maps -- which do add significantly to the program functionality -- so the cupboard is bare for the time being. regards, Martin. posted: 3 Oct 2017 14:18 from: David Higgs Martin, I think you've hit the nail on the head; I'm just trying to sort out Nortons then I think everything will ...

... have no effect on Templot -- you can install Templot anywhere you like in any folder you like, even on a USB memory stick if you wish. It would simply mean changing the default path in the installer, not changing the program itself, and advising anyone using an old installer to edit the installation path -- or to move the executable manually. Only if Windows bans executable code or API calls from anywhere other than their specified location would there be a problem. That would wreck so much software that it's not tenable -- virtually all downloaded installers would fail, to take just one example. Furthermore, Templot doesn't use the Windows Registry, so you can rename the executable to anything you wish if that's necessary to get it to run. You would lose only the file associations. In any event, I have no intention of changing. If the end result is that Templot can only be run using Wine or Crossover, then so be it. A bigger immediate worry is that my existing compiler may not run in the next versions ...

... rail. We are ok here, with the new V-crossing overlaid at 4. b. It will need its own check rails, and there must be room to fit these. As you can see there is a potential conflict here at 5: 2_050938_380000000.png In this case we can deal with this by shortening the rail length and flare length to leave the required clear gap for wheel flanges, as before. In other cases the conflict may be too much -- i.e. the V-crossing is not in a tenable position and must be moved by changing the base turnouts. c. The V-crossing must not be too closely opposite* another V-crossing, otherwise it will conflict with that crossing's check rail. Here at 6 you can see that even though the crossings are offset, there is still a conflict between the new wing rail and the existing check rail. This can be dealt with by combining the two rails into one, which is known as a "parallel wing" V-crossing. In Templot there are ...

... 2. The domain is not prevalent enough, ie. not enough Avast users downloaded (any) EXE files from the domain yet, 3. The file is not signed or Avast does not trust the signature. Once one of these conditions are not met anymore, Avast will stop flagging the download. In other words, just wait until more people try to download the file, or ask the originator to sign the file." A digital signing certificate would cost me several hundred pounds per year, and it is not tenable for software which is provided free of charge. regards, Martin. posted: 7 Oct 2015 15:14 from: Martin Wynne Hi David, I have now put a copy of the file on a different domain. Try downloading this: http://85a.co.uk/forum/templot_212a_setup.exe If that works, for exactly the same file, it illustrates just how daft the DomainRep idea really is. p.s. If you had mentioned DRep in your first message, you would have saved me about an hours work in testing ...
