I know these are not technical terms but is it a 3 way or mor like 2 curved points very close together? I have taken the largest radius as the longest road and the middle as the next and the inside as the shortest is this the best way to achive this I will try uploading a pic later from home.. The station was a branch of the LYR from Middleton Junction to Middleton. I've spent about 6 months on research so far (having no previous knowledge of railways), and over that time, my ambition has grown somewhat. I'm currently thinking I'll be modelling in 2FS with hand built permanent way. This will be a very long term project, involving kit and scratch building locos and stock, and, first thing, fitting out my garage as a suitable space. The garage refit is actually progressing, and I've acquired a couple of donor chasses for locos, so I'm starting to think it may actually happen... The good looking appearance is achieved by prototypical timber spacing and Templot is a huge help here. In fact, I wouldn't be able to use handlaid track without Templot. Because Z gauge is very small I have decided to apply fixed timber spacing between all sections of the turnout. Like I mentioned, I am not a native speaker, although I know English well, it's hard to understand specific terms and options even if I use Google translate. I know there are 4 menus which I need to use to change timber spacing: switch section, closure section, wing rail, vee rail. But it's really hard to understand menu points without a picture explaining elements of the turnout since they are specific terms. Good news- I have done some experiments and I have achieved a good result. My timber spacing for a turnout is exactly what I need. The rest is done with the help of 'shove timbers' feature ...

The Holyhead-Euston express, long-term resident on road 16, regularly negotiates the trailing and facing A6 part of the tandem turnout plus return curve without difficulties. As long as we keep the double junction in the fiddle yard rather than as part of the scenic section then we don't need to worry about appearances. We also need to bear in mind possible constraints with exhibition managers and keep overall dimensions as reasonable as possible. This means that I would like to be as tight as possible with the additional depth allocated to the new fiddle yard and as generous as ...
