By default that is in the C:\TEMPLOT_DEV\BOX-FILES\ and C:\TEMPLOT_DEV\SHAPE-FILES\ folders. The easiest way is to copy them onto a USB memory stick to transfer them. If the wheel is too narrow, as in your example a 2.00mm wheel where the gap is 2.25mm, it doesn't just drop. The point of contact remains on the nose rather than being transferred to the wing rail. That point of contact on the wheel will be more or less the last point of contact on the wheel, although that point is now behind the lowest point of the tread rather than at the lowest point. So the wheel moves down gradually until the gap between wing rails decreases to 2.00mm, at which point a point on the tread ahead of the lowest point of the tread makes contact with the wing rail. At this point the wheel ceases to drop. Take a 1 in 7 crossing ...

It was fairly straightforward to do, which worries me because diving into code I haven't looked at for 20 years is always fraught with hidden dangers and unforeseen consequences. In fact it works fine. So much so that it's another of those changes which I can't understand why I didn't do years ago. Holding down the CTRL key you can click on any background template one after another, and it is immediately transferred to the control template. With no effect on any other existing functions. In effect this is a half-way house to the make-on-click mode, without the difficulties that has for partial templates. It will be in the next program update. It might sount a bit like going two steps back and one forward but it worked for us. If you havene't got the boards already built, draw them full size on a role of lining paper. Mark where you would like the tracks to be situated but most importantly where they cross the baseboard joints. Measure the points at which this happens and transfer these points to baseborads drwan in Templot. Thses are drawn as 'shapes' and appear in the screen. using the right measurements, they can appear as a series of shapes joined to each other. Now lay pieces of plain track onto the screen and make sure they pass through the points of reference you took from the full size plan. Save this plan and the shapes. Now start 'playing until you acheive your gaol. Please mail me for any more help. Best of luck Dave Smith posted: posted: 18 ...

In the early 1930's shunting was done by a man (Cecil Bell) and a Shire horse. Later, as traffic increased, the horse was withdrawn and Mr. Bell transfered to another yard. For example I am currently working on the Sketchbook feature. At present this is entirely uni-directional -- Templot data can go on the sketchbook, but as yet there is no data transfer in the other direction. It would seem useful to be able to use the spacing ring tool for example on the sketchbook -- but it's complicated and not worth bothering with if hardly anyone actually uses the spacing ring!
