... dimension is, as shown, 594 ft, or 9 chains The question is, would that dimension shown be for the centre line of the turnout track, or would it be for the curve of the crossing rail only as shown? I know in most cases, the turnout radius, when related to the turnout as a whole, is referred to as the centre line radius, but this one has me guessing (which is something I don't want to do when inputting data).
