... the process of learning how to construct a tandem brought me on considerably in my understanding of Templot and of trackwork- if a Templot exam was to be set I reckon a 'Random Tandem' exercise would be useful to test for understanding the basics. I've tried splitting off the tandem into its parts and got rid of duplicate templates. And then I've tried removing just about every track component but I just can't seem to get it right.
