... failing once again....hadn't even thought about it. Call myself a railway modeller...maybe that long ago (oh yes the year is 1922) it would have been Spelt? I'm not sure and at 4mm to the foot would I be able to tell.... Here's a shot of my experiments yesterday, testing hill height.
