I'm modelling a junction shortly after it was rationalised resulting in the layout going from this: Pre-1971.jpg to this: 1971.jpg Immediately after rationalisation, most of the original timbers for the turnouts were left in place and it looked like this and it is something that I'd like to replicate on the model. 2_040920_440000000.jpg So, my question is, can I create a plan that has the timbering in place from the original plan above whilst showing the rails from the second plan? John posted: 4 Mar 2019 14:45 from: John Palmer Yes, make the active control each element of the replaced layout you wish to be represented by timbering alone, then hit Ctrl-O (for Orange) to bring up the 'omit rails and joint marks' dialog and click the button 'Invert all rail settings'- this will have the effect of leaving in place only the timbering for the 'replaced' formation ...
