... mixed up. The term "REA semi-curved" applies only to the switch part of the turnout. It has no connection with the different types of V-crossing (frog) geometry. I know this is confusing, because in many parts of the world the term "switch" is commonly used to apply to an entire turnout. But in engineering terms and in Templot, a switch is only the moving points (blades) section of a turnout: startup_pad.png There are no straight sections anywhere in your plan: 2_100830_480000000.png This is not a conventional running-line crossover, because the two turnouts are of opposite hand. The running-line turnout is a right-hand turnout (here a B-7) with negative curving to the left. It has a "regular" type V-crossing. The siding turnout from the loop is a left-hand turnout (here a 9ft-4) with negative curving to the right. It has a "curviform" type V-crossing. The various radii are: 1 ..1 ...

Mark the rail breaks by drawing short white lines across the rails. 4. It's then easy to flood fill between the rail edges with any colours you wish, like this: 2_040442_590000000.png This topic covers this subject in more detail including DXF export to a CAD electrical package: topic 1443 You can also create coloured diagrams by flood filling between the rails like this: 2_100830_480000000.png regards, Martin. posted: 4 Jan 2012 17:08 from: John Shelley Trevor Walling wrote: Hello, What is the best way to include information for electrification of track when using Templot be it for Analogue DC or DCC? I have not been able to find information relating to this and considering Templots ability to produce such stunning and complicated formations some information or guidance would be welcome.I realize some prior basic knowledge on electrification of model track would be a prerequisite as it is a complex subject in itself.I have seen some ...
