On most systems it should automatically minimize to the task bar, but if it doesn't you can minimize it manually. But don't close it, because that will close T3 (instantly, without the usual confirmation about saving your work). Even if you leave it there, it will be hidden behind the trackpad while you are using T3. It's a temporary fix to get round the issue of excessive CPU usage when T3 is running stand-alone.
