... Ian, It's my fault for not displaying a message when partial templates are being omitted from diagram-mode. I'm working on that for the next update. This is what your plan looks like in the thick centre-lines only option: 2_250652_200000000.png You can change the colour and line thickness to whatever you want. Note that you won't get the platforms in 225b, but you will in the next update. p.s. for a neater result on the platforms, switch off the rear and end edges where not needed: 2_131219_160000000.png 2_131219_370000000.png 2_131240_290000000.png cheers, Martin. posted: 25 May 2020 12:19 from: ikcdab Hi Martin, many thanks that is really helpful.Ian Martin Wynne wrote: ikcdab wrote: Hi Martin (and Alan) that makes sense now- i understand completely!Sorry i didnt realise this before. ... hiss of a signal wire in anticipation of the next train... Back to reality. The idea for an island platform is that it is two platforms, one along each of the tracks on either side. They don't need to be parallel or straight. Using the controls on the dialog you set the width at each end so that they overlap all along somewhere down the middle, then switch off the rear and/or end edges so that when output they appear to be a single platform, like this: 2_131219_160000000.png 2_131219_370000000.png The platform colour can be changed to whatever you want. The dotted lines show which edges have been switched off and won't print, the solid lines show the final visible outline of the platform: 2_131240_290000000.png I need to make a video about all this. And the sketchboard is still waiting for some instructions... Thanks for the .box file. I will have a look and see what it might look like on a mimic panel. cheers, Martin. posted: 13 May 2020 18:51 from: Gordon S ...
