I can see in the code the possibility exists for a race condition, I will have a think about how best to prevent that. On the other hand, I can't actually reproduce the problem here, on several systems. It is also exactly the same code as is used for the fast slider on the storage box: 2_152244_060000000.png which has been unchanged for 20 years, without any previous similar reports. Can you make it happen on there? In the meantime you can set the spacing by clicking on the blue ft numbers, or by clicking or holding down the arrow buttons. Or click the set other centres buttons to revert to the previous direct method. I can also see that I have missed a trick by not implementing the keyboard arrow keys for this, so 226f here we come...
