... the actuation is not attached to the stretcher bar but rather is a separate bar turned through 180 degrees similar to the three way turn out actuation I posted earlier. Should I assume that this was only used for lever actuation? I can't see any reason why the arrangement would be different for hand levers from that for rodded operation. There might be a difference between passenger lines and goods lines and yards. In the former case there would also be the detector rods, attached to the actual blades. That would mean making switch blades with 3 fixing holes, so if detection is not needed, using the spare hole for a drive connection might be a simple alternative. regards, Martin ...
