I tried then just for interest a height comparison between 1.6mm pcb, chaired 1.5mm ply, and smp flexi. 3033_131653_060000000.jpg As you can all see, there are some definite "height issues" there! The difference between the flexi and the ply I can resolve by raising the flexi a bit for a meter or so I would imagine. The difference between the ply and the pcb looks huge, and I'm not at all sure how to resolve it.
