I have set the timbering to the correct spacings and using the ruler it shows the rail to be more or less the correct length (12ft) for a 4mm 1 in 6 GW 'Vee' but the joint mark is at the edge of the timbering, all timbering is set out as per the GW switch and Crossing practice book.
