... checked the track centre dimensions on several close up period pictures of curved sections and the 47.5mm gap which you see between the platforms and through the double junction above appears to be similar. The main lines diverge at the Exeter (right hand) end of the formation to pass through a typical 3 arch stone bridge before entering a twin bore tunnel. Similarly the Plymouth lines diverge to enter a twin bore tunnel at the left hand end. Can anyone spot any glaring mistakes that I've failed to appreciate please?
