There was an issue with USB drives in some recent Windows10 updates. I think it is looking for the USB driver. As far as I know it is now fixed, but I think you used the back-door free upgrade, which may be older? If you leave a blank or unimportant USB stick in the drive you shouldn't, by definition, see that message. Which ...
