Hi Edward, I think you are placing too much reliance on the accuracy of 25" OS maps. They can only really be regarded as a rough guide. For detailed design you need a much larger scale, such as the Railway's own 40ft/inch plans. All I can see of the ringed turnout is a black smudge! Using your scan I have created a quick matching plan: irish_harbour.png I scaled the scan to match your marked dimension of 2322mm. The crossing angles are 1:4, 1:4.5, 1:5 and 1:6, which are all typical industrial sizes. The ringed turnouts are both 1:6 with 12ft straight switches. All the other turnouts have 9ft switches.
