... inspiration. Notice the rail joints in the stock rails aligned with the wing rail front joints. Templot doesn't show these, so they can be added by hand on the prints. There is no evidence here of closed up joint spacing, just the reverse in fact. Narrow-gauge track tends to be like that. The check rail lengths in the file might be shortened a bit to better match the picture.
