Can anybody help me get started with building a single outside slip. I have no idea where to start. I have been using Templte for a little while now and have manage a single slip and 3 way tandem using the videos without much problems but do not now where to start on this outside slip. \doed anybody have a box file I could use or just some starting points to get me started. I am working in 00-BF. Any help would be most helpful. Alan |

The basic alignments can be derived quite quickly. Here's a bit of Jing video showing that (give it a moment to download): Getting an exact crossing angle requires some experimenting with the crossing angles and radius in the starting turnout. (The V-crossings in the slip road must clear the other crossings with enough space for all the wing and check rails.) I will try to get a fully worked example done on video. regards, Martin. |

Hi Martin Thank you for a video. This give me a start but I not sure what to do next, think I will have to wait for you to do the full video. The videos are a great way getting people start who are not that to sure how to get the best out of this great software. Alan |

Hi Alan Attached is a box file for P4. Pull that one to pieces and see how you get on. You don't say which version of Templot you're using though, so there may be an issue with the diamond crossings in there. Cheers Paul |

Thanks for the box file but I think I will have to wait for the video that Martin said he would do. I find that the video are the best way for me to follow instructions. Alan |
