I wish Templot could: 1/ Arrange the order of the templates by selecting one in the template list within the storage box, hold down shift and drag the slider near the bottom of the window. It's not much fun clicking 70 odd times, to get a template to the top of the list. 2/ Search for a template given a wildcard search - then given the option of "deleting to control"/"wiping to control"/"copying to control" for a single match, or selecting one from a multiple match, and doing the same, as well as group selecting. |

richard_t wrote: It's not much fun clicking 70 odd times, to get a template to the top of the list.Hi Richard, Paul, Thanks for these suggestions. I have now implemented the following changes for the next Pug: 1. Holding down the brown up-down buttons causes them to repeat. 2. There are new buttons to move a template directly to the top or bottom of the list. 3. There is a new box > sort group templates menu item on the storage box, which moves all the group templates to the top of the list. By group-selecting the required templates first, inverting selections, repeating the process a few times, etc., this should help to get the list in the desired order. Thanks again for suggesting these changes. regards, Martin. |

(CTRL+F) find next (F3) find and group ... You can enter the template name, or a part of a name, and find the relevant template(s) in the box. find and group ... menu item puts all the found templates in a new group. After which you could sort them to the top, save them, wipe them, etc., in the usual way. For example, searching for "goods yard" would put all templates with "goods yard" as part of their name in a new group. These functions should help users with a large track plan who have named their templates to organise them more easily. If all your templates are called "no-name", these functions won't be much help. regards, Martin. |
