Dear Martin I have saved a high resolution arial photograph as a bitmap file in the shape-files folder, but when I open the background shapes control box, it only shows me .bgs files. What am I doing wrong? Best wishes Giles |

What am I doing wrong?Hi Giles, You are not doing anything wrong. You can't open a bmp file directly in the background shapes -- if you did that Templot wouldn't know where to put it on the grid or what size to make it. Instead, follow the sequence to add a picture shape, and the file dialog will appear and allow you to select the bmp file to load into it. Here's the video -- the file dialog to select the bmp file is at elapsed time 2minutes 50seconds: http://85a.co.uk/flash/backgnd_scan/ p.s. it's a large file, wait for long download. If it won't play the executable version can be downloaded from: http://www.templot.com/martweb/videos/map_picture_shape.exe regards, Martin. |
