Sorry, I don't know what went wrong with my original posting - here it is again. Many thanks for your efforts to bring us this new version of Templot. I downloaded it and installed according to the instructions - Windows XP SP3. All went fine and I copied over my box and shape files from 0.91c, which loaded up ok. This is my first try with TDV and the first time I've used Templot for quite a few months, so I guess I am probably quite rusty. I loaded up the ruler to see what space I have availabe for what I want to do. I noticed one oddity, not a show stopper, but as you move the ends of the ruler around, the last line in the information window (Timbering length) gets repeated over and over again. I don't know if it has always done this in previous versions, but I havn't noticed it. After escaping from the ruler, click on background and then click in information window and it rights itself, so I won't be losing any sleep over it, but I thought you might like to know. I'll upload the screen shot in a following message, in case that's what messed up my first posting. Regards, Pete |

Ok, it didn't like me just pasting the screen shot into the message (that's what went wrong first time) so I've uploaded it as a Jpeg: 147_111711_500000000.png Regards, Pete |

The total timbering length data is new in this TDV update (requested by Ian). It was much trickier to do than you might think -- obviously I should have tested it a bit more thoroughly. I will get it fixed. p.s. to insert screenshots easily, click the Upload new image for insertion button above the editor space (Firefox and IE only). TDV can create screenshots directly -- output > export a screenshot... menu item. Thanks again, Martin. |

Hi Pete, I have moved this out of the info panel and on to the shove timbers dialog instead: 2_120848_240000000.png In the next TDV update. regards, Martin. |
